ReDiant Beauty Microblading healing expectations
What to expect after my initial procedure:
  • No downtime is required.
  • The eyebrow area may be slightly red after the procedure and color will appear very dark.  This is normal and is a part of the healing process.
  • There may be some scabbing.  Do not pick at the scabs as this will damage the skin and the outcome of the microbladed area.
  • It takes about 7-14 days for the brows to heal and about 1 month for the color to set in.  Touch up sessions should not be done before 4 weeks.  This is to prevent scar damage as the skin layers requires time to heal.
  • After the procedure, the area treated will be darker and more intense. This is normal.  The brows will appear dark for a few days until the skin heals, peels, and naturally exfoliates.  The true color emerges after about 28-30 days of the brows healing.  The color will lighten about 20-30%.
  • You will notice the color is very light right after the two weeks healing.  The skin will have an opaque milky looking appearance.  This is common in tattooing and is a known as the milk skin or ghosting.  The skin is healing from the inside even though the surface of the skin is healed.  The true color will emerge once the area is fully healed.
  • Your brows may appear to have shrunk in size.  The brows may have been swollen during the procedure and have shrunken to its normal size.
  • Adversely, if the brows appear too large, allow them to heal.  You may need time to get used to your new brows.
  • After 4-6 weeks, the brows will reveal the natural color.
  • Healing is very specific to the individual.  Age, skin type, and lifestyle, can effect the healing process.
  • It is important to note that you require a color boost between 8-18 months after your initial service.
