MICROBLADING vs. TATTOO
What is the difference between microblading and tattooing?
-
Microblading is semi-permanent and with proper care will last 8-18 months. You will need to touch-up microblade strokes once they start to fade. Fading allows you to reshape. Tattoos are permanent.
-
Tattoos use a machine. Microblading is done with a manual tool.
-
The strokes are applied through the epidermis and dermis layer of skin . Tattoos are applied through a deeper layer of skin thus making it more permanent.
-
Old tattoo eyebrows appear as a pencil. Microblades create a more natural appearance (hair-like strokes).
